“Replacement chairs for originals that were received damaged. The original chairs were delivered by a third party courier company in boxes, and just dumped in our hallway, and upon opening were badly packaged & all 4 chairs were damaged, so had to be returned.
We selected replacement chairs and opted for the Rivington Dining chairs. They are lovely, comfortable and perfect choice, love them.
After service was good, following previous issues,. This delivery was by Barker & Stonehouse themselves, which is what we had expected with the original order. White Glove Delivery Service, all individually protected by a specific blanket, and hand delivered to the dining room and unwrapped. Extremely polite delivery team with a call prior to arrival, and were delivered earlier than expected. Massive thumbs up .
Stick to delivering your quality products yourselves, no disrespect to high volume delivery companies, but they do not respect the goods, and just throw them about as it’s just another box! And I do have lots of experience of this as being in the logistics trade.
