“After visiting nearly every furniture store (and reading the frightening reviews) we visited Barker and Stonehouse in Brighton. The sales assistant, Laura, could not have been more helpful and patient with all of our concerns regarding the purchase of two reclining sofas. After much deliberation and numerous visits to the store we could not find the colour we required. Having asked Laura to communicate with the suppliers she kept in constant touch with us on the phone and much to our surprise she obtained new leather samples which we loved. We purchased the sofas and were happy to wait four months until they were produced. Laura gave us the optimum customer service and her employers should be extremely proud to have her on their team - no one could have done more!
Must also mention the exemplary service by the two delivery drivers - Josh and Marian who turned up bang on time in their smart liveried Barker and Stonehouse lorry, were extremely polite and well mannered and installed the sofas exactly where we required them with the minimum of fuss and consideration - well done both of you.
