“Very nice quality stools. They Look lovely.
We are experienced DIY ers, and found assembly challenging. The start holes in the hardwood, should be deepened, to make hand assembly of screws possible.
The overall assembly was easier if everything is assembled loose.
We found it easier by doing it this way.
1) assemble stool back loosely
2) assemble black foot rest loosely
3) then finally add wooden wedges loosely
4) tighten everything up
5) fit seat pad
6) Sit back and enjoy”
“Loved the stools - just right for our breakfast bar. Not very easy to put together though took quite a while getting the screws in. They arrived much quicker than we expected - 3 weeks early. However, they didn't tell us they were arriving early and we were away when they were delivered, with the result that they were left out in the rain for two days. The boxes were sodden but fortunately the stools were ok as they were covered.”
