“Hi ... we purchased our Clark Three Seater Power recliner in August 2022. Within weeks, the seating areas, particularly on the left began to dip and sag. By November 2022, barely three months later, the density all but disappeared in the left seat causing concern and significant discomfort. Having contacted B&S over the issue, the recliner was inspected by a furniture technician who found the seating had dipped and was not fit for purpose. B&S said we might have been unlucky in that our recliner had been fitted with a 'bad batch' of foam and that they would contact the manufacturer to have the foam replaced.
It is now 2 February 2023, and we are informed it will be towards the end of March 2023 before any replacement will take place. In the meantime, the seating has further deteriorated to the extent I have to find an alternative chair. We went to B&S specifically because of its reputation for selling high-quality products but after spending a total of £1907.00, we remain sorely disappointed with our purchase. We are also very sceptical about the replacement foam density and quality and how long it will remain firm and comfortable. Unfortunately, we have now lost confidence in this product BUT hope we can submit a more positive report when the work has been carried out.”
