“I ordered an Erika chair on 26.9.23 to match some Ericka chairs I already have. It was advertised to arrive within a week. After 2 weeks of no communication and no delivery I phoned and spoke to someone in customer service who said dpd had chair she would chase it up and get back to me. No one came back to me.
I emailed on 15.10.23 & someone from customer service emailed back saying they would look into and get back to me but again didn’t.
Dpd then texted 16.10.23 to say they were delivering 17.10.23 so I swapped shifts at work to accommodate this. At the specified delivery time however I received another dpd text saying they now couldn’t deliver & would deliver Wednesday 18.10.23 which they did without any other texts informing me of timings or anything.
Chair arrived but when trying to assemble it, it appears the wrong seat pad or base has been sent. It has different screw fittings on the base for 4 screws in a square on but the base is triangle with 3 screws. There are no holes to fit triangle base screws.
After having to send another email customer service offered to send a replacement chair already assembled.
The whole process was disappointing wasting a lot of time & effort. I shouldn’t have needed to firstly chase up where delivery was when it was running late and then keep chasing with no responses. Issues eventually sorted with final customer service agent offering replacement but what should have been a weeks delivery ended up over a month by time replacement came. Not very good experience.”
