“I love the table, but I didn’t need the chair. Unfortunately, I was told I couldn’t purchase the table separately, as it’s sold as a package deal. It’s a shame, as I’ve ended up with a chair I don’t use, still in its original packaging in my spare room.
Since I’m using the table for work, I need a chair that allows easy movement on wheels and meets ergonomic requirements to support my posture during long hours. However, Barker and Stonehouse seemed more focused on enforcing the chair sale than on whether it suited my needs, even though the chair was quoted separately on the invoice, not as part of a bundle.
That said, the quality of the products is excellent, but I’m disappointed at having to purchase the full set when I only wanted the table.”
“Lovely desk, only criticism is the nuisance is accessing the storage at the sides. On the other desks on the site, the leg storage can be accessed from the inner part of the desk not just the outer. This desk doesn’t have it. I didn’t realise this, if I had noticed before ordering, I’d have bought the alternative desk. It makes the storage far less accessible and now I have less storage capacity than I had with my much smaller desk. The desk does look lovely though, it’s just missing that little bit of practicality.”
