“I would not recommend this item and this is why. Unfortunately it is not the version you can control with a phone app. Instead it has a remote and this is the main problem that can occur. The display is quite basic but can be effective, however the unit responds on the same frequency as practically every other remote control that I own. Samsung TV remote changes the settings and even turns it off and all you have to do is be turning down the volume or changing channels. Even browsing through Youtube changes the light settings. This is frustrating and a total oversight. My smart TV box controller does exactly the same thing. So you listen to some music through the speaker (which is feeble) and that is being kind, and if you use any remote control it just turns off or changes the lighting that you wanted especially at that moment. So annoying and stupid. I would advise to avoid.”
