“Nice components, easy to learn, 7 and 8 year olds picked it up quite quickly and enjoyed the game, good opportunity for some maths as they total up their scores, and opportunity to think strategically as they improve. Good game for kids, casual players and also opportunity to play more strategically. I personally prefer the full game (the original Ticket to Ride) especially for adults and think it's a good option for kids of this age too, but the NY version is good for shorter games. They also enjoy Kingdomino and maybe prefer that.”
