“I started collecting some of these Harry Potter figures last year but left them in the boxes, but after opening them I'm very impressed by the quality and strong build. The bodies are very sturdy at the joints, it would take some very rough play to have breaks. Also very happy with the outfits too, just enough detail to be faithful to the movies and well made. The likenesses are very subtle, but certainly recognisable and well painted. My only downside is the unusual method of holding the wands, rather than a gripping hand Mattel chose a loose gripping hand, adding a thumb grip to the wand itself which looks a but weird unless hidden in the palm, which is possible using the elastic band instead. Overall really happy, especially considering how affordable these are compared to more high end figures like Star Ace. Mattel ticks all the boxes for me.”
