“Fantastic take on the Dungeons and Dragons Starter, with the new Stranger Things theme rules and game scenario , you still get the basics but with the original story played out ,as seen in the D&D game they played in the television show. It also has two exclusive demogorgan figures , one pre-painted and one ready to paint, plus dice. Great basic way to introduce Dungeons and Dragons game. Recommended !!”

“Grabbed an absolute bargain for my first purchase from Bargainmac.co.Uk. I’ve been after this set as an entry point for my kids into D&D. I got this for approximately half price. Well worth it at this price, it doesn’t warrant a big box release but it includes a full set of polyhedral dice and two plastic figures as well as the manuals. Plus the box art harkens back to the D&D Basic set we all had in the 80’s, so there’s that retro vibe thing too. My kids also enjoyed “Stranger Things” so I’m hoping we can play this together. It’s for 3 people and up. I’ll be the DM (of course!). Wizards have several starter level sets for 5th edition and I think this is the most accessible. Bargain!”

“Cool collectible. Provides details to play a similar campaign to the one the characters are playing in Stranger Things Season 1, rather than a campaign based on Stranger Things. The contents do not fill the box. Great alternative to the 5e Starter Set, though I understand the Starter Set's campaign has a lot more depth. The Demigorgon models are nice.”
