“This is my first straight razor so the whole experience is new for me, and a little intimidating. The Kamisori razor has a top notch feel and the blades are super easy to insert/remove, and with no guard the blade doesn’t get clogged up. Whilst the razor is very sharp, and I’m still getting a few nicks, the ability to adjust the shaving angle is easy and produces a superior shave, even when compared to a SE razor which uses the same Feather Pro-Guard blades.
I have found this type of razor requires good shaving products and a first class technique for lathering up to avoid excess irritation.
Overall this is an impressive razor that produces a superior shave and I am pleased with the purchase. I would definitely recommend it if you are brave enough to consider a straight razor.”
“Great product and significantly cheaper than other versions of this style available. Definitely worth it if you have not tried this style of razor before and want to test it out and not spend hundreds. Impressive product. Note that it does work much better with the recommended blades from Barbarossa brothers so would recommended purchasing them and not trying to half a traditional blade as does not seem to work as well.”
