“Laid between standard patio slabs on a hardcore/sand base. Within 3 days it was cracking, lifting and shrinking. Told by the manufacturer that the base was incorrect. Apart from a hardcore/sand base, what else are you supposed to use under a patio?! I also ensured the depth and width of the gaps measured at least the minimum set by the instructions. £160 out of pocket as I am not going to have to remove and replace with standard grouting.”
