“What I was sent was not what I ordered. The stones were covered in a brown coloured clay which basically was caked onto each stone. All it was fir for would be as a hardcore. Have asked to have the stones changed but so far nothing has happened. I would urge people to think twice before ordering. Also I was not told or given a delivery date and had to keep ringing the depot as to when my delivery will come- still have not been told when my chippings will be replaced”

Hi Ted, Thank you for your review and we apologise that you have not been satisfied with your Cotswold Chippings. As this is a natural product we cannot always guarantee that it is of a consistent colour or specification, however we have had some quality issues with that particular product recently therefore we are happy to replace your bag. However and as we explained last week, we are waiting for a new better quality product to arrive from our suppliers before we’re able to do this. This product is due to us this week so we will replace it as soon as possible. Also, due to your location, we had to designate your delivery as “when in area”. We have to build up delivery loads for non-local postcodes so it is therefore very difficult to give specific delivery days to orders like yours. We do however always offer to leave deliveries for customers and they do not need signing for. Thanks, AWBS.

“I order Cotswold chippings twice. They were delivered promptly and in excellent condition. They have enhanced an enlarged garden sitting area and mixed well with older chippings.”

“Bulk bag delivered for free on time and left where requested. On inspection later I found the chippings were a more golden colour than the beige I was expecting to match the existing chippings in my garden. I rang AWBS and staff were very helpful and arranged an exchange of bags for a more suitable colour at no additional cost.”
