“This bike is great. rides well over the contours of the road. it was such a wierd feeling to pedal abit and take off, i finished my usual 15 minute bike journey in 6-7 minutes where when i got home from training i was asked if something was wrong bcoz i got home really early. Great bike. Seat uncomfortable bcoz i weigh 108kg but all bikes seem like that. Great job and workmanship!”
“I am new to riding, I was after an electric bike which is affordable and comfortable to ride. For the price charged the bike offers more in terms of options, comfort and the look is amazing. Will definitely recommend.
Saying this the delivery of the bike was severely delayed. It was very difficult to get hold of a representative at Avris which was stressful and I will ask them to improve their aftersales service.”

In regards to the delivery. We have looked into this for you. You enquired about this delivery at 19:20 on the 28th June, and you got a reply back on the 29th June with tracking info.
No other method of contact was made to us from our records. Although we can see on the tracking that the carrier had x2 failed delivery attempts on the 27th and 28th June, when nobody was available to take the delivery. The item was eventually delivered on the 6th July, after we contacted the carrier to make another attempt to deliver.

“The Avaris 3.6 offers amazing value for money. A neat down tube battery installation in a well made frame together with disc brakes and a 16 speed gear set (plenty with the electric assist), makes for a very attractive bike with lots of nice touches. I particularly like the forward sweep of the handle bars, the deep section wheel rims and the high quality finish. This is a bike you are proud to own. Of course it's not perfect. It is heavy, even for an electric bike and the ride is somewhat harsh. After a bit of experimentation, I have found a comfortable riding position and expect to complete some longish rides without discomfort. A couple of gripes - the instruction book does not quite describe my model, the battery removal section was very confusing, but happily I found a YouTube video that explained everything. Also, setting the display is not very well explained, but again YouTube came to the rescue. The display is however, very easy to read when on the move - top marks for that. After a couple of rides I found the range to be pretty good in the eco power mode (adequate for most journeys) and I expect to get up to about 40 miles on a single charge. Altogether a very pleasing bike.”
