ORIGINAL JAGUAR / VALEO PARTThis is the ballast module, which fits into the base of the headlight assembly. Its function is to supply and regulate the high voltage charge to the High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlight bulb. If you have a headlight bulb failure, and swapping the bulbs from one side to another does not fix the problem, then it is likely that your ballast module has failed.
