thank you for generally good service I've had from you, and the refund I got for the brake master cylinder I returned to you because it did not fit my X-type.
The second brake cylinder I received from you was the right one, but unfortunately it was not fully functional - the cylinder did not hold firm enough, maybe the rubbers had dried or something.
Luckily my mechanic friend was able to reassemble an adequately functional brake cylinder by joining together parts of my original cylinder and the cylinder you sent to me.

Thank you for the review. The 2001-2006 master cylinder you initially ordered online was wrong because your car was found to be a 2007 when we started to help you understand the compatibility issue using the vehicle VIN number. The above master cylinder that we sent in replacement was fully checked by ourselves so I would be a bit concerned that the mechanic stated they needed to swap internal parts and presumably charged extra for this service? There is only one moving part inside these, so it is difficult to imagine what part from the old faulty unit may have been needed to improve the new one we supplied.
