“I purchased this cd player to replace an old SONY player. What a difference. The sound is clean and clear coming from a silent background. Vocals are warm and inviting. I don’t mind the extra 2 seconds it takes to load compared with other players as the sound is worth the wait.”

With the latest internal DAC, both the balanced and unbalanced outputs deliver sparkling sound. Let's put aside the CD/vinyl debate and the standard vs hi-res arguments. “The Rotel RCD-1572 mkII cd player won't disappoint. The internal DAC sounds so good I haven't even bothered with an external DAC yet. Clear sound that is engaging and warm. Additionally, the sound stage is fantastic. I find the speakers disappear effortlessly when a well mastered cd is played. The transport is dead silent during playback and balanced outputs insure high quality signal is delivered to the pre-amp. Exceeded my expectations at this price point and sounds as good as many transport only solutions. With the 30 day return policy, you can't loose giving this cd player an try.”
“I am in the process of breaking in my new 1572 mk2. It replaces the 1072 Rotel which was great. So far the detail is stunning and it is being used with power equipment made in Minnesota. Highly reccomended it fits into a middle level audiophile system perfectly and is priced for everybody”
“I very much like the sound that the player produces. It did apparently have a brain cramp once, when it just stopped producing and audio output. Brian at Audio Advisor immediately returned my message and instructed me to disconnect the power for a few minutes and then power the unit up. It returned to normal operation as before. I wish it loaded and read the CDs faster but a minor gripe. Overall very happy with the purchase and Brian at Audio Advisors is the best.”
