“Fantastic sub.Output is just ok for my medium room size but sound quality is awesome.Audioadvisor had great price and customer service was great too.Thank you and looking forward to buy another one.”
“I bought this model to match my first 1003v1. I use these subs with my 2 channel system for music. The 2nd sub added so much more depth/width. I know these are labeled as Home Theater subs, but for Music they are equally as good! For the Price highly recommended!”
“Excellent sounding sub I have 3 now and I love them all I would Definitely Recommend these Subs to all Others Looking to Upgrade , Replace , or add another sub. Thanks Paul”
“This is a little subwoofer but with a lot of low, articulate punch. However, the controls are difficult to see and adjust except in well lit situations. I'd like to see them on top but that's probably not happening no matter the brand.”
“This subwoofer may have been designed for Home Theater applications but I am using with Elac Debut Reference 2-way bookshelf speakers in a 2.1 music-only system. This sub is great in this application and very musical. The room is fairly large (approximately 17 X 25 and open to another room). The Elacs are very good speakers and can work without a sub. But in this large space, the Elac's 6.5" drivers were challenged. I was initially using a 12" ported sub (borrowed from Home Theater system) with the setup and it worked well to fill in the lows. However, the ported sub's presence was always known. The HT1003 completely disappears into the music. This is a great pairing. My only gripe is the over the top REL logo placement. This is a fairly small subwoofer and "REL" is printed in 11 places - twice on each of the feet, on the driver, on the top and on the rear panel. Really? Fortunately, the sub comes with soft rubber isolation feet with no logos and I am using those on my wood floor. If I was using the hard feet, I would have painted them to cover the logos. A few weeks after buying, I found that the HT1003 Mk2 version was released. Supposed to offer even more volume output. Wish I would have known but the Mk1 is meeting my needs so still a happy camper.”
