“Comparing to my Audio Technica I will say that the Rega out of the box had a more musical quality than the ATLP120 ever did. It has a warmer tone, clearer highs and better pitch control stability IMO. One of the selling points of this table is the ability to upgrade individual components for relatively low investment. I think the stock table is an excellent value and for most folks, it wouldn't need any upgrades at all, but for those like me who can't help but tinker, there are lots of great upgrade options to keep you occupied! I have taken away one star because I wish it came with a good record clamp.”
