Took another month to get a replacement. I'd say that Audio Adviser was fantastic in standing behind their sale. I like the Rogue unit, but not impressed with their support as they never returned my calls.”
“What can I say? Not only did this amp breath life and soul into my Klipsch Heresy III's, but my wife's first comment upon seeing it installed in my system was ‘wow, tha's gorgeous'. I kid you not. Truth be told, I did go with the Atlas over the ST-100 because of looks, but I can tell you the sound did not suffer. For me the real beauty of the Atlas is that I can run it in triode mode on the 4ohm taps and still have more than ample power headroom for my speakers. Everything sounds effortless; from Norah Jones' intimate cafÃ:copyright: jazz to full on orchestras with pipe organ (think Saint-Saens). Pop your thing? I must admit I also enjoy the music of Billie Eilish and this amp really brings all the details in her music to life with clarity and precision, but with no harshness. For me, this amp is end game paired with my Rogue RP-5 preamp and the Heresy's. My only tiny little nit to pick is that to swap to the 4 ohm taps, you have to remove the power tubes, open the case and undo a couple of nuts and swap two wires. I mean, i's 2021… is an extra binding post or even a toggle switch really too much to ask? But regardless, that is no reason whatsoever to discredit the Atlas Magnum III.”
