I recently replaced my turntable and thought this would be a good time to purchase a companion cleaner. Wow, was I ever surprised. All those claims are true: Your vinyl sounds significantly better after a cleaning with a machine. Even my wife noticed, and while she is a musician with great ears, she's not an audiophile.
Setup of the machine was easy. I found the instructions for use a little obscure, but made a "cheat sheet" to help clarify things. After a few cleanings, I have had good success. Although I'm still struggling to get the optimum amount of cleaning fluid on to the record surface.
