“Lack of screws and washers greatly reduces flexibility in setting up racks. Strategy seems to be to get customer to buy another unit again. No - I already have 2 racks and the amp stand. Inclusion of screws and washers would cost pennies.”
Thank you for your comments. Since both the threaded inserts and plastic washers are supplied with the rack we don't include them with the longer replacement posts.

“I wanted a little extra room for ventilation on my Parasound amp so I replaced the stock tubes with this taller ones. The installation was smooth and easy. I found the best way to install these was to flip the rack upside down and work from the bottom-up. The stand is now three inches taller but I honestly can't tell any change in how sturdy it is. It's solid with absolutely no wobble. Anybody need any 7" tubes? Good price!”
“Like the description says, these posts are super easy to install. I put this rack together with no tools - you just hand-tighten everything - but I wanted extra room for my Mac tube amp to breath so I got these 'extension' tubes which put 10" of space between the first and second shelves. Tight fit. This rack is very sturdy.”
