“This product is all about price and quality. It's a very sturdy, easy to put together. I've been collecting high-end audio products for about 40 years now, and none of my combined $20,000 components are complaining. :)
I do want to use this opportunity to share my philosophy about sound. In the US it's always been about the speakers. Personally, and after dealing with the greatest audio store on the planet, I firmly believe it's about the amplification. Garbage in garbage out great amplification will make any speaker sound better. Just my opinion!”
“So far so good. Holds liras of what s do is stable. I use it with spikes piercing carpet. Added the extra shelf to a set of 4 and it was easy. Assembly is very straightforward. Suggest assembling upside down, and don't forget to tighten the heck out of each leg (by hand only though). Would buy again. Got it on a discount but is worth it at full price. Highly recommended.”
“My 4-shelf Vulcan stand, with the addition of some 10â€ posts to replace the shorter ones, has been the perfect unit for my new home. The shelf is both more durable and more beautiful than expected, and the larger posts I ordered allowed me to fit all of my components (vintage) with the addition of a 5â€ Penta drawer directly underneath my top shelf and turntable for the storage of cleaning materials, extra headshells and cartridges, and TT set up gear!
A bargain by any measure and on par with rack systems costing more than twice as much! The staff at Audio Advisor were a pleasure to work with, my orders were delivered quickly and their customer service is personal and impeccable. They will now be my “go toâ€ audio shop :-)”
“The Pangea Vulcan racks are very versatile and a good value. However I wish the risers were sold independently in all sizes to allow further customization. I've purchased extra shelves just to get more risers.”
“Same sturdy construction and ease to integrate into my Pangea Turntable rack. It allows a shelf for my Rega turntable power supply and Simutech Moon phono preamp.”
