“I's adequate, but appears to be bowing slightly under the weight of my MacIntosh 2275 integrated amp. I provably should have bought the carbon fiber version but I didn't want the carbon fiber finish. In truth I liked the Sanus amp stand I purchased from you (in the past)better in almost every aspect ( finish, strength, construction etc ) that probably accounts for my slight disappointment with the Pangea product.”
“Excellent amp stand both functionally and aesthetically. I was quoted a price of $ 500 for a similar piece in hardwood with solid aluminum posts.
Much prefer the Vulcan.”
“It looked good on photos, but it is even better in real. Not even a screw driver is needed for assembly. Fit and finish is superb. Amazing how they can do it for the price.”
“Bought a pair of these for my McIntosh MC601 amps. They were a hard deal to pass up at under $100 for the pair but they are a bit short front to back for these amps. The feet do sit on the stand but with the front of the amp inline with the front of the stand (I'm using the flat side on the front, just think it looks better) the back corners of the amp hang out past the edge of the stand pretty far.. Stand is solid and has no problem handling the weight of the 601's (89 lbs). Would recommend but just not for an amp with this size foot print. Dims given seem to give the depth of the stand at the apex of that arc so something to keep in mind if considering this stand for a larger amp.”
