“I needed to have my racks a little more mobile on hardwood floors. But I have several heavy tube amps as well as some very heavy class A amps. Long term we’ll see, but so far they’ve been great.”
“This is the second Vulcan LP Storage Rack I’ve bought. I’m impressed by their sturdiness and and lack of any kind of play or give. Very solid units.
I added the option casters in both cases and they make the racks even more useful for moving a load of LPs around or just moving the racks for vacuuming the floor. The addition of the wheels does not compromise the rigidity of the rack in any way and makes them a lot more convenient and useful
I have absolutely no qualms about using one of the racks to hold my TechDAS Air Force III turntable beside the rack that holds my audio electronics.

“The casters are fine : waiting for nearly five months is not ! I have no idea what the problem was but they never said sorry or gave me any compensation for the delay. Just said they were “ on order””
“The wheels are offset quite a bit from the pivot point which creates a huge level and means that a lot of angular force is exerted on the nut where you screw in this wheel and this may cause bending. The screw is very long, which is unnecessary, as the screw in points don't have threads with the same length and the more the screw is not inserted the more it'll create a lever point when the rack is loaded with heavy equipment. I think the wheels are also too small, as in they don't have a large surface area on the floor. If you have these wheels on a think carpet they really sink in deep and won't easily roll anymore.”
