“This cable replaced a USB 3.1 Printer cable that I was using from my laptop, enroute to my DAC (Topping D30Pro). What a freaking difference! Although the cable was not burned-in yet, I could tell immediately that music's timber (tamber?) had much more body, sounded vastly more natural, and the low-end had more texture, and perhaps even better dynamics. I could also tell the sound staging was better and rock solid. It seemed that the treble harshness in my system had been tamed as well. It was like I had upgraded to a new DAC and headphones. The cable as of this writing has only about 8 hours on it and I'm ordering a second one for my other system now. I wished I'd have known sooner how much a difference this cable could make to my system. I cannot recommend this USB cable highly enough. The price-to-performance ratio compared to other more expensive cables makes the SE MKII a slam dunk.
Now, the more basic Pangea Premier USB cable was also an upgrade--but not like the Premier SE MKII. I don't know whether it's the upgraded Cardas copper wire or superior shielding, or what, but the Premier SE MKII is THE one to get. I sent the basic Premier back and ordered a SECOND Premier SE MK II for another part of my system. I am beyond happy with this purchase.”
