“I'm not a cable is a cable guy, as I have some good interconnects, and a pretty serious power cord for my amp, but in this instance, I could not discern any difference between this cord and the ten dollar one I have. And i's running from an iMac to a Rega dac into a Rega Elex-r (so decent gear).”
“I have a pretty nice system, and was hoping a better usb cord would make a difference over the $7 cord I got off of Amazon, but unfortunately there was no audible difference. I have a Rega dac connected to a Rega Elex-r, and pretty revealing speakers, and I went back and forth a few times, and didn't notice any improvement in sound with the nicer cable. It looks nicer, but that was the only improvement. And I'm not “a cable is a cableâ€� guy, as I have several upgraded power cords and interconnects that I think do make a sonic improvement, but unfortunately, this one didn't.”
