“Very sturdy and nicely powder coated. It comes with sharp pointed peg feet which are good for plywood floors with carpeting but I bought a set of SVS Subwoofer sound isolation feet and re-threded the holes to install them. If you put no feet on the stands, it would be ok for carpeted floor but I have one set on hardwoods and another on marble, both of which would be terribly scratched without the rubber. At this price point I think there should also be a large sound isolation pad on the top to prevent vibrations and yo protect your speakers. They come with 4 8mm diam 1mm thick rubber stickers. The stands definitely feel secure holding my 55lb Wisdom speakers. I did add 10lbs of lead shot the the vertical tubes (split between the 4 on each stand) but that is probably overkill. I would buy again.
I used velcro to attach speaker the stand which was more than adequate. These are in wall speakers and will be installed as such in my new home in about a year.”
