“This Premier SE digital brings out more detail in my music. I notice improvements listening to instrumental electronic music on Tidal and also on my bluray sound tracks. “For those who think digital cables won't make a difference in their sound - I wish it was so it would save me money - I invite you to give this Premier SE cable a try. I don't have an expensive system but I think its really good for the money I spent yet this cable made an undenieable improvement between my Cambridge CD player and DacMagic dac. Let me elaborate: bass is deeper, more controlled, mids are silkier, highs lost the hiss and nasal harshness when Gloria goes for the rough "r". Big difference! “I was skeptical about the improvements that a digital coax cable could make, since I use a re-clocker to remove jitter before the data goes to a high end D/A. I know the improvements speaker cables make and interconnects, but why pay more for a better digi8tal cable? For the price though, I figured it was worth a try. I expected to go back and forth a few times between this and my basic coax to see if I could hear any difference; however, hearing the first cut was all I needed. “I recently upgraded from the Schiit BiFrost to the Parasound Z-DACv2 and ordered this cable based on the recommendation of my salesman, Kaan. I have a couple of digital coax cables already – Nordost Blue Heaven, Shunyata Venon, Tara Labs Prime Digital 75, but Kaan recommended I give this one a try with my new Z-DAC. I let the cable burn-in for 24 hours before a serious listening session. I started with my old favorites. Jimmy Rogers in “Blue Birdâ€� was excellent. Its was like Jimmy was in my room. “Mussorgsky's Pictures At An Exhibitionâ€� with Fritz Reiner was airy and expansive. I could hear all the way to the back of the orchestra. Eddie Harris in “The Electrifying Eddieâ€� was loud, brash and saxy – like a slap in the face. Linda Ronstadt on “Heart Like A Wheelâ€� was sultry and in my room singing directly to me. I went back a forth a few times between the Premiier and my other digitals. The Tara labs was the closests in clarity, the Nordost had a nice warmth, but the Premier was so darn neutral and transparent it wasn't really much of a contest. Good recommendation, Kaan, this cable is Highly Recommended.”
“Oh no, Pangea Premier cables are taking over my Cambridge Audio DacMagic DAC! I have been slowly upgrade the cables on my beloved DacMagic audio DAC. First, I upgraded to the Pangea Premier True Balanced XLR cables to my CJ tube preamp and my systems' background noise dropped to below a whisper. Then I upgraded to the Pangea Premier SE USB cables and was an even bigger difference. I had no idea the lowly USB cable could make that much difference in my system.
