NAD C 316BEE V2 Integrated Amplifier - Phono Included New Reviews

4.5 Rating 16 Reviews
This is a fantastic little beast in every aspect the nad c316bee v2 works beautifully with my nad c538 cd player, the only reason I've not given 5 stars is because the nad c316bee v2 generates quite a bit of heat as its an a/b amplifier and there isn't enough ventilation above the capacitors and on the capacitor side why have nad used cheap Chinese caps (samxon)... If NAD is planning a mk3 please use Nichicon/Panasonic or Elna along with more ventilation.

After my 70s Marantz 2019 receiver failed I decided to get something a little more modern to replace it. I had an NAD receiver in high school and found it to be an awesome piece this one is no different… After a brief warm-up. It performs awesomely.

This a great traditional amplifier and remarkable piece at any price. Forget that thin flat sounding digital amp. Buy this you, won't be disappointed. Great sales help from Joe. Audio Advisor a class act.

When my Marantz 2019 finally bit the dust, I wondered around in a funk for several days trying to figure out what to do to replace it, my wife handed me an audio advisor magazine and told me to stop crying, then I bought this wonderful NAD receiver, I had one in high school and remembered how awesome that one was, so it was not a very big job to order this new one. It was a bit tiny at first, but we are putting it through its paces playing it for at least an hour a day, And the sound is beginning to warm up and just be wonderful. If you were looking for a receiver buy this one and never looked back.

Nice compact size, plenty of power very food frequency range in a 12X15 room. Only drawback is the cabinet top gets hot. NAD should have put more holes for ventilation in top and bottom of the cabinet.

I ordered this at 9:15 am yesterday. 23 hours later I am listening to it in my home. Thanks. The amp is not my first Nad 316, I have one in my Vacation home and love it, so I bought another. Pair it with just about any speakers. I have psb, and paradigm studios, and have used it to power my Harbeth P3s. Don't underestimate this amplifier.

It bothers me when features described in the owner's manual don't function quite as described. Don't get me wrong. This is a wonderful sounding unit, and I am very pleased with it - especially the phono stage. But, according to the manual, a red light appears on the standby button when there is an overheating issue, the solution being to shut off the master power switch and let the unit cool down. However, in my case, the red light appears every time I turn the unit on, regardless of how long it has been off and showing no signs of heating. Within a few seconds, the standby light turns to blue and all is well. Am I getting concerned about a non-issue, or should I view it as a potential problem? I believe that NAD builds high-end equipment, but a NAD CD player I owned stopped working one month after the manufacturer's warranty expired: the disc tray locked in the closed position. Am I being paranoid?

Thanks for you comment and review. The light changing color is a normal part of this amp's function. The red light indicates the unit is warming up and the blue that the amp is ready to play music.
