“Using the factory matt with my Technics SL-1210GR the tone arm sits too low. I have to double up on the matt to get this to function. That makes the center stem very short and using a center weight becomes questionable. The actual function is fine but it would be perfect if it were shorter and would function with just the factory matt.”
“It’s expensive for what it does. But it fits perfectly, like it’s supposed to be there. It works great, and now I don’t have to worry if I fall asleep, or I’m cooking and can’t get there right away. But it is expensive. It’s very expensive.”
“Great little device. Easy to install, works perfectly. Well enough machined that it fits in with the 'table without appearing to be an add-on. Only hitch is you have to remember to push the lift bar down again after each use - failing which the arm will bump up against it halfway through the next record. Recommended.”
