“I really love these Azurys! I had the Sennheiser HD 660S2 Headphones and flipped them. Everything was great about them but they had an annoying squeak in the pads or somewhere. I even had sent back under the warranty and that problem still persisted !
The Azurys are clear sounding detailed headphone across all three ranges! A very tight no slop in tones whatsoever! The closed back seal beautifully and deadens outside noise almost completely!
This is my third pair of Focals headphones! I have the Focal Bathys and they are simply splendid! I didn't want to wear out the battery since I do a lot of TV listening with headphones while my wife is sleeping. I also have a Astell & Kern portable music player and listening sessions with the Azurys are a match made in musical heaven!
The Azurys are on the same frame as the Bathys but each has its own tuning for sound. Azurys are a wired passive and the Bathys are a Noise Cancelling , wired, wireless and built in DAC!
The Azurys are very comfortable I wear them for over 2 hours straight watching TV! Ears fit nicely in the cups and do not get hot! I did not use the stock wire. I use a audiophile quality upgrade! (that makes a big difference, I'm in the wires do make a difference in sound camp!)
I seen these on sale (demo) for less than $300! 2 months ago! I had to buy them before they got snapped up! Every where else was north of $375! The demo pair arrived in like new condition! It did not have any signs of wear! They even smelled new! Thank you Audioavisor! for the steal! oops I mean the Deal!

Mids are detail but in line with the Harman curve
Highs are very detailed and a bit boasted in around 8 k so a bad 80s recording can sound a bit harsh to my ears, but not an issue on well recorded music”
