“Finding a turntable that my wife and I both liked was a challenge. My wife actually selected this turntable after reading reviews and watching videos. We both love this turntable. In our 37 years of marriage, this is one of the best purchases we have ever made. The wife acceptance factor is high for her, but be assured, it sounds as good as it looks. Whenever I post photos on a vinyl enthusiast's group, I always get great comments on how nice it looks.”
“The E.A.T. C-Sharp is a real work of art. The fit 'n finish is superb. The sound is a big step up from my previous Music Hall MMF 9.1. Big, wide and deep soundstage with great detail without sounding harsh. I would like to add that AA's service was excellent. Thank's Tim!”
“After seeing this table in the advisor catalog a few times I finally decided to give it a go. Got the table last friday and invited a vinyl friend over to help me with the set up. He owns three tables now and has a $10,000 vpiI setup. First thing that impressed us was the quality of the parts including the platter, arm and even the carbon fiber plinth. The c-sharp came 85% ready to go and it wasnt long before we were spinning vinyl. This table is very quiet with hardly any record noise at all. Also fast, detailed and highly musical on everything including the most diffiult to track LPs in my collection. My friend even brought over his original copy of the 1812 overture to see if it would track it and it sailed through that recording like a hot knife through butter. Impressive! Other things we noticed were tight deep bass, natural midband and crystal clear highs - especially on cymbals and strings. Voice is very important to me and here the EAT delivered the goods. Female vocals - Diana Krall, Patti LeBell, Patsy Cline, Lena Horn all sounded like there were present in my room! My friend even commented that old jazz recordings approached the realism of his $10,000 VPI. He left very impressed. Needless to say I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who is serious about their vinyl.”
“Listening for one month now and here's what I like: Just love the look of the carbon fiber plinth and I'm sure it helps dissipate vibrations - this thing is really dead quiet. Like the spongey suspension between the carbon plinth and the MDF base frame. The motor is mounted to the base frame and so is mechanically isolated from the carbon plinth, platter and tonearm in this way. This is a briilant approach and I don't know why more manufacturers don't use it. I love the tonearm design. It's also briliant and may be the finest single piece of audio gear I've every owned. Almost forgot to add - C Sharp is the best sounding table I've personally owned. Its quiet, dynamic and works flawlessly. Get one!”
“I compared it to Technic SL 1200 MK 2 and the C-Sharp has, in my opinion, a wider soundstage and far more detail. Set up was easy. I have no mechanical ability and found it very simple to get going. Operating it is easy since there's a separate outboard speed control box. The Ortofon Quintet Black is, IMO, a fantastic phono cartridge – I don't know why anyone would want anything better. I gave it four stars because it didn't come with a cover. If you're searching for an audiophile turntable, I would highly recommend this one, and you'll hear an immediate improvement in your vinyl record sound, and you'll hear detail you've never heard before.”
“I won't mince words. This is a fantastic turntable. My salesman, Tim, was absolutely right in recommending it to me. C-Sharp is stunning to look at. The arm alone is almost worth the price. It's made from a combination of carbon fiber, stainless steel and aluminum. Great engineering here. I know because I was an engineer. OK, I guess I still am. The Orofon Quintet Black is a fantastic cartridge. It tracks every groove in my collection including all three copies of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. I here more depth in every LP. My only problem now is that I'm spending so much time listening to LPs late into the night. The other night I was up to 3am. Crazy, I know, but you only live once. Amazing.”
