“This outlet is very wide, the side screws on both sides needs to be screwed in far as possible before installed into the wall box, or it won’t fit . . quality is outstanding, and I have separate dedicated lines to each outlet. I don’t know if this made any improvement in sound quality.”
“This outlet is outstanding, PERIOD. END OF STORY. Beryllium copper is one of if not the best conductor for high current in an audio system (silver has some issues). The build quality of this Cardas outlet is top notch and real beefy which requires proper housing to accommodate the larger size due to the larger contacts housed within. I have two of these in critical areas and the result is expanded and tighter bass, liquid midrange, and detailed highs that are night and day noticeable in comparison to even the best hubbells. Any audiophile worth their salt knows the backbone of any amazing audio system starts at the copper wires and outlets and goes on from there. Even the best gear is not running at it's optimal level if your wiring and outlets are sub-par. Cardas hit a home run with these outlets which easily outperform ones costing 3 times more (I know this cause I tried LOTS of outlets). I am an audiophile for over 30 years and not being paid nor am I in any way associated with any audio manufacturer, just letting that out there. I will be getting more of these outlets as my budget allows.”
