“Objectively improved my Bluesound Node 2i streamer sound about 30%. Better mids and detailed highs. Great listenability without the tiring digital sound that often occurs with more detail. Long break-in time to achieve best sound (125+ hours). Highly recommended.”
“PCM files higher than 96 kHz or any DSD file is very distorted and unlistenable with my HP laptop, but it sounds great with my MacBook Pro. I've read that other customers with Windows-based computers have had the same problem. Chord needs to fix their driver!”

“My first one was the Mojo which I really liked except for the fact I couldn't leave on all the time. It was much better than HRT Microstreamer I had been using but also more expensive. I'm still in the wear-in period with the Qutest but have been pleasantly surprised at the improvement in sound quality. The Mojo and Qutest both make listening to older MP3 files enjoyable again. I've been listening to a bunch of tracks I haven't played for awhile since they didn't sound acceptable on the Microstreamer. What I'm really waiting for is my AudioEngine N22 to arrive so it can drive my Sennheiser 660S's (the Qutest only has an RCA out). The Mojo had enough juice to drive them and I was liking the detail I hadn't heard before. This is by far the most expensive DAC I've purchased but given the amount of music I listen to while working I think it was a good investment. By the way, the HDTracks recordings sounds amazing though you don't need the large files to get AudioPhile grade music. I don't think I'll be getting the DAVE anytime soon so I'm planning to use the Qutest as my “go toâ€� DAC.”
“Still getting to know my qutest but I really like it so far. Beautifully built and packaged. Easy to hook up and owners manual with the unit, not on a dvd you have to print out for easy reference. Really woke up my magnepan 1.7i's which to my 62 year old ears can use an oomph in the high-frequency dept. Tightened and really improved the bottom-end which was the biggest surprise. Like what I hear so far! If you typically listen in a darkened room like me, you might want to figure out a way to cover the lights on it, kinda distracting after a while.”
