Great! I am using it for TV sound and turntable. My only quibble is that I wish it would remember the volume setting when it was turned off.

The receiver is great in terms of functionality, but the sound is a bit muted, especially in the midrange. There is no way to add brightness to the midrange, so certain instruments sound muffled. Otherwise, i's a good purchase. Thank

I was debating between Cambridge and a comparably priced competitor. I have to say I was initially underwhelmed with the AXR100, coming from vintage receivers. Over a short period of time, I've really grown to love this unit, i's very easy to listen to and presents the music as it is. I'm not adjusting bass/treble for each song to get the best sound. I never knew what “clean sounding music was, but tha's the best to describe how it presents the recordings. I really look forward to listening to this unit every day, and isn't that what i's supposed to be about?

I got this for my office and use it mostly for fm radio and with Iphone/dragonfly cobalt. The sound is very sweet and laid back. Great for classical music! Try with a good pair of speaker like Kef, Dynaudio and you will not regret.

Going from a surround sound receiver back to two channel. I did a lot of research and came across this one based on reviews and recommendations. Set up was a no brainer. The sound is warm and full. I added a dragonfly black DAC when using my phone/ipad. The sound is very nice and detailed. I can not think of anything I do not like about my choice. Jim was great and the process was easy.
