“I was looking for a pair of good ICs to go between a Marantz CD6006 and a big Yamaha integrated amp, (Vandersteen 2Ce Sig. speakers). Between what I had on hand and some Audio Advisor ICs-- all in the same general price/quality range, I had 5 ICs to choose from. These AQ Yukons have good balance, detail, and were generally pleasant to listen through. However after several days of listening, I decided they had an overall slightly bright presentation and I returned them in favor of another Audio Advisor recommended IC that have a little less brightness in my system-- Analysis Plus. Thank-you AA. I'd just add that these Yukon ICs came in as a close 2nd for me. AudioQuest has gone to smaller RCA connectors-- not a negative, but a little different than most ICs.”
