I ordered this unit online and it was shipped a couple of hours after an Audio Advisor rep contacted me to confirm the order. I got a great deal as this was listed as a demo item. It looks like new and performs flawlessly. I have no complaints and highly recommend the 9000 CDT and Audio Advisor.”
“I was pleasantly surprised by the significant improvement the CD transport brought to my audio system. I share James P.'s sentiment regarding the unexpectedly high performance of 16-bit CDs. The remastered recordings from the 1950s, especially those from the Living Stereo and Mercury Living Presence series, are particularly impressive.
I deducted one star due to issues with the initial unit that necessitated an exchange. The replacement unit also exhibited problems, albeit less frequently. Generally, the unit functions well. Unfortunately, when I reached out to my AA sales representative for assistance, the manufacturer’s representative was unable to provide a resolution, even though the issue was documented in an online forum. Despite the risk of the skipping/no sound problem recurring, the exceptional sound quality convinced me to retain the unit, which has been operating without issues for some time now. It’s possible that the problem was related to the initial break-in period, but I cannot be certain.
