“I purchased an audio rack that has spike for use in a carpeted floor. However, my listening room is bare wood. These pucks still allow the spikes to be used without damaging my floors. This size is perfect for using with A/V racks. They still provide isolation while protecting floors. I don’t know if it’s merely a placebo effect, but these brass saucers seem to make my system sound better than ordinary rounded plastic ends on the racks I’ve owned before.”
