The Q UP Automatic Tonearm Lifter - Demo Reviews

4.8 Rating 4 Reviews
Demo model in good shape and works as advertised. A bit tricky to install as it is very sensitive to precise location on the plinth and adjusting the trigger and lifting arm is a matter of trial and error. Try to have it trigger as close to the label as possible as record lead-outs vary in width. If you have a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO table be sure to watch the video on the Q UP website!

Setup was easy and it worked fine with a Thorens TD-165. But I also bought one for a friend who has a Pioneer PL-10 (not totally sure if that’s the exact model, but it’s the super common one), and it wasn’t compatible — the Pioneer’s tone arm doesn’t have enough clearance to fit the Cue Up even at its lowest setting. So before you order, see if you can dig up compatibility info. Also, I have an extra if anyone needs one ;-)

Works as intended, fairly easy to set up. Not a work of art, but cheap and keeps my stylus from bouncing off the label when i forget im listening to vinyl.

This Thing Works. Took 15 minutes to adjust and fine tune. It works Every Time to raise the tonearm when you forget the record finished playing. If you have a manual turntable do yourself a favor and get the Q-Up. Demo units still available here for Half Price.
