Stunning interior, amazing statues around the building, really peaceful place and an absolute definite to see while in Barcelona.

Amazing place, beautiful building, still under reconstruction. The guide was really knowledgable.

Words cannot express how beautiful this building is. You have to see it for yourself! We booked a guided tour as we’d heard this was one of the easiest ways to skip the long queues. The meeting point was really easy to find, just head to the “newer” side of the building and walk straight across the square. Our tour guide was excellent and you could tell she was a Gaudi enthusiast! She pointed out carvings on the building which we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. It was fascinating hearing about the history of the building and the meaning behind each section. We also saw models of what the building will look like once it’s finally finished (they estimate it’ll be in the year 2026!) The tour was around 1 ½ hours in total, however after that you’re free to wander around inside for as long as you like.

The Sagrada Familia is simply breath-taking when you get up close. The intricate sculptures and sheer scale of the building make the cathedral a must see if you're in Barcelona. The guide was brilliant and helped us get more out of our visit- you'll learn the symbolism/meaning behind the carvings and interesting facts about how much manpower and time it's taken to get the building to this point and how long they've got left to go. The queue on the day was insane but our skip the line tickets helped us get past most of the crowd! A must see!

Our tickets told us to meet at the Julia offices (directly opposite the Sagrada Familia, across the square - hard to miss) and when we arrived we found a party of about 10 and a guide who then walked us over to the Sagrada Familia explaining the Gaudi design as we went. We walked straight past the ridiculous queue (it was raining and I still think it was over 100 people long) and were given audio headsets so we could hear our guide much better. He was excellent as he lead us around this incredible building explaining the significance and history (and future as it isn't going to be finished for another decade) in near perfect English. The Sagrada Familia is beautiful and this was definitely a better way to see it then joining the queue and wondering around yourself. Highly recommended.
