We only live 30 mins or so from Warwick so thought it would be a nice way to spend a day. Didn't bank on the additional 20 min walk from the car park, also very annoying to see parking spaces closer but we weren't allowed to use those. Now whilst I have no complaints about the site I do believe full price it is very expensive so do your research and book online with attractiontix - this meant we paid half price and I think that is about right although still not the cheapest. Some excellent information on the history and some great presentations as you go round. We didn't visit the dungeons and you should know these are extra to the entry price. The trebuchet was out of use when we visited but still interesting to see. There are many many stunning views and well worth climbing all the stairs to get them! I went to Warwick Castle with my Dad’s family, who were visiting from America at the time. We all had a brilliant afternoon exploring the castle and the views from the towers and ramparts especially are really beautiful! The character actors were very entertaining and really helped you feel like you'd been transported back in time. It started to rain a little while we were there, which was a shame, but there's plenty to look around inside too. Overall well worth a visit! :)
