I bought a ticket for myself for 5 attractions explorer pass. However, this is useless as you are unable to use the 'Go City Card' app on your smartphone. This is because these guys are third party sellers and are not authorised to give there customers access to the 'Go City Card' app. Therefore, you have to print 30no of pages and carry them around, rather than doing it the easier way of carrying the QR Code on your mobile app. Your better off spending the extra £3 and buying it directly from (www.smartdestinations.com) at least you can use their user friendly application. Rather than carrying papers around!

I bought this because it said it was a fast track ticket to the listed attractions. Only I tried using mine in New York to visit the ‘Statue of Liberty and The Empire State Building’. Both of these I queued up in the long queues and found I was unable to use fast track lines. On reaching both places I then found I could not have the full experience; At the Statue my ticket only allowed me a visit around the the grounds, & only up to the 86 floor not the 102. You need to upgrade your ticks at the box offices. I also found your only allowed one visit on an attraction (Big bus), I was there for 3 days and wanted tho do different routes on two days to cover my sights, but had to again pay an extra $20 to go on the bus a second time. In future I will have to view theses type of tickets wearily, as they may not fulfill all my needs.

I bought the 5 attraction pass for a recent 5 day/4 night visit to NYC. There were so many different passes to choose from but in the end I picked this pass as it was good value for money and I felt given the time I had available and the type of attractions I particularly wanted to see, this pass suited the best. I used it for the hop on hop off bus on the first day to give me a good oversight of the city and the relevant attractions. I then used it for the Empire State Building, Intrepid Air & Sea Museum, 9/11 museum and the Natural History Museum. I paid separately for a guided tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and also for a night dinner cruise both of which were fantastic. You can use your pass for the Statue of Liberty but it does not give access to the pedestal of the statue and museum which are worth seeing. In between these paid visits I was also able to walk around the city to get a good view of many of the other attractions you can see for free - Rockafeller tree and ice rink, Bryant Park ice rink and Christmas market (didn't skate at either), Wall Street (the Bull), City Hall, Times Square and over Brooklyn bridge for a couple of hours in Brooklyn.
