“Disneyland Paris is more comparable to Thorpe Park or Alton Towers than it is Disneyland CA or Disney World Florida. It's just not Disney. This mostly comes down to the staff. Staff at Disney's American parks are trained very thoroughly to be friendly, polite, helpful and most importantly, always have a huge smile plastered on their face (I've even heard ex-Disney employees complaining that their cheeks always hurt when they got home from work from smiling so much.) Unfortunately, the staff at Disneyland Paris are rude, unhelpful, barely speak any English and couldn't look more miserable if they tried. Walt would turn in his grave. Having most of the languages on the rides as French kind of takes some of the magic away as well. My partner and I had lunch at The Rainforest Cafe in Disney Village one day. This is a staple eatery at all Disney resorts and is loved globally. The restaurant was empty apart from two couples eating on two tiny tables. A staff member seated us right in between them. It was so squashed that we had to get out of our table sideways and knocked the table talkers over on the next table when we did. We asked if we could be seated somewhere else but he said "the rest of the restaurant is closed". I had ribs and chips- the worst i've ever had, and it cost me a €28 euros. I find this pricing, for the service and product you receive, frankly, disgusting. The only decent food we had while we were there was at the cowboy cookout in Frontierland, and we had to queue over an hour for it. Disneyland Paris is a nice few days out if you have kids and can't afford to go to the American Disney Parks, but if you can- it's well worth the extra money.”

“I invited my niece and her dad (my brother) for a day at Euro-Disney or Disney-World-Paris. We went on a Friday for a day trip, which was the best we could have done. Streets where empty, parking easy and queues reasonable. The parking situation is a bit annoying, since it is EUR 25 from the Disney Parking. I think it is totally exaggerated. Entrance, Setup and rides are all clean and totally in the theme. Food is quite challenging and the snacks (ice cream, popcorn..) is obviously super overpriced. Lunch at Planet Hollywood is Oook, but as expected super expensive. My niece did some cool face painting for EUR 15. When she wanted to have the process dress for EUR 80 we reached to an end. It was too much for a cheap quality outfit. My conclusion. For a 4 years old, it is too early. Be prepared to pay a lot on the extras. Try to plan the route of your rides. The Star Wars are is amazing. The rides are super. In general, the themes are well done and all is surprisingly clean.”
