“Had a great day with my daughter and grandson. He loved the farm with the goats and we liked the train ride, shame you have to pay so much to go on it though. The bird displays were fun and of course the seal show is a must to see. The soft play area was a nice break for nannas feet, nice cold drink would have been good too. The shop is well stocked.”

“We bought the ticket for ourselves and three grandchildren and a good day was had by all. HOWEVER, WHY OH WHY HAVE YOU PERMITTED CHILDREN'S SCOOTERS TO ENTER THE ZOO!! The idea of a day at the zoo is surely to see and watch the animals which Whipsnade does superbly NOT for children to race around on their scooters and everyone else having to look out for them. Scooters should be in the park or in safe places for children to play. The majority of children showed little or no interest in the animals but racing around and at times causing mayhem. What were some parents doing - chatting among themselves and were oblivious to their children. We did have a lovely day and the children were interested in all there was to see. Would we go again - Yes, of course, but we would be very aware if you continue to permit scooters. Young at heart grandparents”

“I booked a family ticket 3 kids my kids didn't enjoy it. The animals were too far. Kids were upset. Didn't see much. Over price food. So not very happy.”

“Celebrated my 60th birthday with children and grandchildren. Renewing memories of younger years. Thanks to lovely staff at gate she gave me membership rates to bring cars in, when she saw my 'birthday boy' badge. Lovely surprise. I put the discount to a peacock for Millie-Rose my 5 yr old granddaughter. What a special day!! Thank you Whipsnade and your generosity when I appreciate money is tight”

“Took two grandchilden to the zoo. Not so many animals as I remember when I was younger & the cost of taking the car in at £20 prohibitive.”

“We purchased tickets on line for ourselves and our grandchildren and their parents. The arrival arrangements are much better: easier parking by monitors and the gate entrance was much quicker and far better arranged than on previous occasions we have visited. The pens, cages and parkland for species are also improving and, when the sea lions have been upgraded, all the animals will be decently housed.”
