I spent 4 hours in the museum and was blown away. The museum is haunting, moving, terribly sad but ultimately respectful and a fantastic tribute to all.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, beyond belief how the people involved survived and came through it, made more poignant by the guides in the museum that shared there experiences from that day.

We bought tickets as we felt it respectful to visit 9/11 memorial and museum whilst travelling around NYC. A place that really made us put life in to perspective. Such a tragic event but such a fitting tribute with a whole history of the world trade building at the same time .

A must visit for your trip to NYC. You can see the remains of what’s left of the twin towers and other exhibits. I’d recommend allowing 2 ½ hours to go around and take it all in. Outside you can see the 9/11 South Tower Pool, where all the names of the people who perished are etched into the square pond wall. Very moving and I nearly cried myself.

A really hard experience to review given the human tragedy that occured, but as a memorial to those who were killed, a tribute to the heroes from that day and a window into the political and historical context of 9/11, I can't think how this could have been better realised. I'd put this alongside the very best of what NYC has to offer. Unmissable
