“I read the online reviews with a healthy degree of scepticism; after all, who's going to admit they made a mistake in buying a £130 jumper? Nonetheless, I pressed ahead and bought one - and am utterly delighted! It's thick and heavy and looks amazing. The quality is up there with the very best and I can't understand how they can make and sell them for so little.
I was a bit worried about the smell and the itchiness but I needn't have been because the smell is pleasant and only faint, and the itchiness is almost nonexistent. Very slightly scratchy but not at all problematic, even around the neck. Feels like it's going to be incredibly warm, and living up here in Shetland the fact it'll shed light rain is a very welcome bonus...
I checked about sizes before ordering and was advised that an XL (my usual size) would be perfect, and it is. At 6' 3" and 16 stone, it's well-fitting rather than loose. It is a couple of inches shorter than I would likie ideally but that's not a deal-breaker at all.
If you're in two minds as to whether to buy one then I say just go ahead; I promise you won't be disappointed!”
