“This is my 2nd AB jumper, as everyone else says this is quite an incredible jumper, I won’t be buying any wool jumpers from other brands again, it’s heavy, thick and warm and can handle anything. The medium fits underneath my Paramo smock nicely and with a merino base layer it’s a great set up. Some other colours would be good but that’s only because I want to buy more and the lighter colours don’t suit my soup spilling personality. Just buy one, you won’t regret it and to borrow the tagline from an American Leather bag maker, they’ll fight over it when you’re dead.”

“First time i've bought one of these. The quality is very good & I think it is great. The weight of the jumper is just right & it is lovely & warm. I also like the thumb holes in the sleeves. I will definitely have to order one more when I can afford it but till then I'm very happy with this one.”
“This item is NOT windproof & was returned (from Canada) at rather great expense for refund. It was well-made but could not be worn by itself in cold weather with even a light breeze, it would need a windproof layer over it as the knit is not tight enough. Very disappointing. But the description does tout its breathable feature so I should've been less optimistic. Have been able to find two other sweater makers in the UK that say their sweaters are windproof & that they use a very tight knit. These garments were in fact designed to be worn by working fishermen & mariners, wearing an outer layer only to keep the sweater clean. One of those will be purchased; in my opinion therefore, this Arthur Beale item rates two stars.”
