“I purchased two Beerenberg sweaters earlier this year. A brown and a Welsh Grey. I ordered over the phone and staff were excellent, delivery came the next day. The two sweaters are heavy and substantial garments. They fit like a glove and look good. Warm as toast and very comfortable. Highly recommended for being outdoors. I’m a sensitive soul and I suffer no itchiness from these if just wearing a tee shirt beneath them.”
“Already had the darker one of these and was pleased with it. It's an incredibly thick and warm jumper and all the better for that. The body fit was excellent (close but not too close) and I used the size guide information to choose my size and found it accurate. The only reason I have taken one star off is for the sloppy collapsing neckline. Getting the neck of a roll neck right I'm sure isn't easy (I've found different companies products vary in this respect) but this one is particularly bad (this one was a bit worse than the brown one but both had the issue) and I've had to use safety pins on the inside of the neck to hold it in a reasonable position and even then it isn't great. I know it's not just me because I've seen similar in some of the companies publicity pics. I realise the jumper has rugged explorer and sailor chic but there's no reason in my opinion why it can't have a neater neck without losing its rugged warmth. I don't like looking like a scruff and would like to be able to wear this in a neater fashion under a smart coat or oversized (would need to be a size up from ones usual to fit the thickness of the jumper) sports jacket too. If you're trying to decide between the light grey and the ecru I'd choose the latter. The colour of the Black (actually Brown) is fantastic but I wish I had chosen the ecru rather than this light grey which is OK but just a bit nondescript. Otherwise everything good. But come on Arthur Beale. Sort that neck out!!!”
