“Being an already proud owner of an Erebus and a Pelmo I'd been looking for a navy jumper so the release of the zip neck caught me at the right time. As other reviewers have said this is a lighter weight, which is probably a function of the waffle knit, but is still warm and doesn't have the distinctive smell of sheep the other two have. Having deserted wool for fleece years ago I'm making the return for all the reasons listed on the product description. It's odd feeling the air move over your body but still feel comfortable, particularly when walking along the Dorset coast path. At 5'11", 80kg with a 42" chest the size guide said Large which is a perfect fit. My only concern is the robustness of the thumb holes which are knitted and don't have the finishing tape of the Pelmo but let's wait and see. A great addition to the range of wool jumpers.”
